Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the KoroAI mobile application and web service (the "Service") operated by KoroAI ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KoroAI is an AI-powered farming companion application that provides:

• AI-based crop health diagnosis through image analysis
• Personalized farming advice and daily recommendations
• Weather alerts and forecasts for farming activities
• Profit estimation for various crops
• Weekly farming task planning
• Organic farming guides and resources
• Information about government schemes for farmers
• Community features including Farmer Diary
• Crop encyclopedia and seed calculator

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing your phone number and verifying it via OTP. You may also create an account with a password. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a manner that could harm other users or the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The farming advice, crop health diagnoses, profit estimates, and other recommendations provided by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and are for informational purposes only.

• AI-generated advice should not be treated as a substitute for professional agricultural consultation from qualified agronomists, KVK scientists, or agricultural extension officers.
• Crop health diagnoses from photos are AI-based estimates and may not be 100% accurate. Always verify with a local agricultural expert for critical decisions.
• Profit estimates are approximations based on general market data and may not reflect actual market conditions in your area.
• Treatment recommendations (organic and chemical) should be verified with local agricultural authorities before application.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
• We are not responsible for any crop loss, financial loss, or damage resulting from decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload content that is obscene, offensive, defamatory, or violates any person's rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the Service to spam or harass other users
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, including Farmer Diary entries, crop photos, and text inputs. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6.2 Shared Content

If you choose to share Farmer Diary entries publicly, you acknowledge that other users can view and interact with your shared content. You are responsible for the content you share.

6.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, is inappropriate, or is harmful to other users or the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, features, content, and technology, is owned by KoroAI and is protected by intellectual property laws.
• The KoroAI name, logo, and branding are our trademarks.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
• Agricultural data, crop information, and farming guides within the app are compiled from publicly available sources (ICAR, KVK, government publications) and are provided for educational purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

• AI Providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI): For crop analysis and farming advice
• Twilio: For SMS OTP verification
• Open-Meteo: For weather data

These services are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

9. Fees and Payments

The Service is currently provided free of charge to all users. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future, with advance notice to users. Any paid features will be clearly marked, and free core features will remain available.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, crops, or other intangible losses.
• Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
• We are not liable for any agricultural decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KoroAI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
